I like to keep it simple - I don't have a range of different packages or add-ons because I believe each wedding is unique and will get my full commitment no matter what the extent of coverage required. After a consultation I will prepare a bespoke quotation tailored to your requirements. This keeps it simple and saves you worrying about what is included and what is not, and it allows you to focus on enjoying your day.
I will film as little or as much of your day as you would like, from bride preparations through to first dances in the evening, with me as solo operator (two cameras used during ceremony and speeches). I will cover as much of the ceremony and speeches as you wish, as is practical, and that the venue allows.
After all, most of the work takes place with the editing afterwards, and whether events take place in the morning, afternoon or throughout, I will be blocking out your full day to react to how the day unfolds.
Before the day we will talk through the plans so that you can get to know me and I don't turn up as a stranger on the day! That helps you be comfortable with me around and means I can plan to get the best coverage.
I will use a drone to capture establishing shots if practical, permitted, appropriate and legal, but don't charge extra for this. I hold appropriate qualifications for commercial drone work and all relevant insurance.
I will provide you with a highlight video, set to licensed royalty free music, and a longer edit which includes the ceremony and speeches. I will also provide a short "trailer" version showing key moments less than 1 minute long suitable for sharing on Instagram or other social media.
As a guide the highlights would be approximately 5-8 minutes long depending on what happens on the day - this is nice length to share and watch back regularly. The longer edit could be anywhere from say half an hour to an hour.
For example, church ceremonies tend to be longer than civil ceremonies. Some churches restrict video recording, others let you film as much as you like. Sometimes speeches are brief, but perhaps your best man is planning a full length comedy routine!
